Prayer Campaign 2017
" THE COVENANT "
Contact us via email and leave information including your , email address for correspondence, First and Last Name. You will be contacted with a day and time that is good for you to join us in prayer with your prayer partner.
To Register for our prayer campaign simply email us at: goye@gracecovenantlegacy.org
1. How many times during this Campaign do I pray? You will pray once a month during the 365 day campaign with your partner unless you sign-up for additional slots.
2. How long do I have to pray? Partners pray for a total of 60 minutes. Each person can pray 30 minutes or more as the Holy Spirit leads. Those who are new at praying for 30 minutes may not pray for an entire 30 minutes in the beginning. The more experienced partner will need to encourage them and help.
3. What should we do if we feel the anointing to pray longer than 30 minutes? Feel free to pray as long as you like.
4. Can I sign up for more than one slot? Yes, you may sign up for as many slots to which you are able to commit.
5. Does my prayer partner have to be a member of Grace Covenant? No, but they must be born again.
6. Can my prayer partner be my spouse? Yes
7. Can my prayer partner be a family member other than my spouse? Yes
8. Can my prayer partner be a child? Yes, as long as they are able to speak and learn how to pray.
9. If possible, can my prayer partner and I pray face-to-face instead of over the phone? The Prayer Campaign is intended to be a convenience in your home. However, if both of you agree, that is acceptable.
10. Is there anything specific that we must pray for? Yes, you will receive a Campaign guide in your packet. They will be available for pick up from any team leader.
11. How long is the Campaign going to last? This campaign will last for 365 days.
12. Who will notify me when it's time to pray? One of the partners in the previous time slot will call you or your prayer partner as a reminder when they are done with their day if you like. Please specify if you will need a reminder from the previous persons praying. It will be up to you and your partner to decide which one of you will call the other.
13. What if the person for the next time slot is not available? If you are unable to get in touch with one, please call the other. If you are unable to get in touch with either one, we trust the next 2 prayer partners will begin at their allotted time. If you are unable to contact someone, please leave a message on our voice mail or email us and a team leader will give you a call back to help/assist you.
14. If I can't get in touch with my prayer partner, what should I do? Pray for the entire 60 minutes by yourself or with a family member or friend and then call the next team to start their time of prayer.
15. If my partner is designated to call me prior to prayer and I don't hear from them, what should I do? Please do not wait longer than 5 minutes past the hour. Call your partner; they may have over slept or not aware of the time. If you are not able to get in touch with them, pray for that 60 minutes by yourself or with a family member and when your 60 minutes is up, call the following team.
16. Do I call the church office if I have questions or something else that needs attention? Yes. There are Team Leaders assigned to the prayer Campaign who will return your call or email you.
17. If my prayer partner prays for most of the 60 minutes and I don't have an opportunity to pray, what should I do? Tell your prayer partner, in a spirit of love, that you would like to pray for 30 minutes. They may not be aware that they have gone over their 30 minutes or that you are comfortable with praying. However, be sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit when He leads in another direction.
18. What if I end up praying most of the 60 minutes ? If you realize your partner is not able to pray for a 30 minute period of time, please be patient with them. Encourage them to pray
