I need to work more on my water intake, I will try to do better today.



Here is a scripture I am meditating on for Endurance ...

" And let us not be weary in well doing for i due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

Life is full of journeys. I am finding a new level of endurance when seeking a healthier lifestyle. I am not thinking that this way of eating will be the answer for me. But I do believe the word of God in our heart will be the key to caring about taking care of the temple we live in. We will take a new level of pride in our health.

Endurance is a key. When we are healthy we enjoy so much more of our lives, in areas of careers, and even in our marriages and relationships. It's a journey of endurance to a higher level in quality of our lives.

My Prayer for Today: Lord help me to prioritize and endure discipline for a healthy life.

Pastor and First lady mentioned if you don't have a plan then you don't need money. My husband and I wanted a treadmill and we found one at the Thift Store for $24.00 and the first day I stayed on it for one whole hour

Hello Ladies it is Week 2 (June 14 - 20) for those who are trying the Fast and Prayer Methods for Loosing Weight. I am here to Share the Guidelines for your Success in Weight Loss and Walking in God's Will for your Life!!! Are you Excited!!! Week 2 includes you giving up some more FOODS that you may Love. This week is more intense than the Week 1. Remember to Stay Focus and Drink a lot of liquids to stay hydrated.

Week 2 (June 14 – 20)
Spiritual Readings:
Read Proverbs 14–20, Psalms 26–50; John 8–14, Colossians (all).

Fast Guidelines:
Continue week one; eliminate breads, and acidic Foods, eat alkaline foods – NO FRIED FOODS

Acidic Foods: Clams, sausages, oatmeal, lobster, peanuts, sodas, crackers, spaghetti. Peanut butter, chicken, crab, beef, turkey, wheat, lamb, pork, pecans, smoked meats, eggs, breads, diary products, honey, shrimp, corn, sugar, oil, wine, coffee, tea , etc.

Alkaline Foods: Spinach, syrup, celery, carrots, greens, cabbage, green beans, beet, broccoli, squash, mushroom, cauliflower, pineapple, avocado, raisins, tomatoes, yams, grapefruit, apricot, lemons, oranges, peaches, bananas, scallions, grapes, pears, apples, watermelons, asparagus, etc. You may eat Fish with fins and scales – Baked, Broiled, or Grilled.

I know it seems like a lot, but I know if you put your minds to it and have Faith and Believe in God for what you are praying for, you will be VICTORIOUS!!!!

Bonta' thanks for posting the fasting information. Ladies this week we are reading:


* Read Proverbs chp. 7-13; Psalms Chp. 1-25; John Chp. 1-7; all of Ephesians.

* Elliminate 1 hour of Television watching daily.


You have all week to read the scriptures however read as often as you need to...

You are welcome...always remember if you don't give up anything in Life you can't gain the the Greater things. By saying that; I mean that you must give up those foods and habits you Love in order to see Big results in your weight loss. Also just don't give up the foods and not exercise because that is a BIG key also in losing the weight. Remember STAY FOCUS and you will reach your Goal in Life and with weight loss.

I will try that Bonita and thanks for posting that is some good advise, if you know you are not losing weight and you see no change like Katonya mention write down what you are eating(keep a log) you have to give up something to see results!

I want to know some feed back on the body magic !! I have not tried it yet but I plan to look into the body magic attire. I need some feed back on that. I seems to look GREAT from what I have seen so far.

In the mean time I want you to know that I had some crepes the other day and scraped the fruit off of it and it STILL sent me into sneezing fit!

I will begin a 30 fast on Monday, you are welcome to join me on this...I will give you details on it...in the meantime let's be on one accord in praying for health, happiness and prosperity.
